KHEER

INGREDIENTS:

  • Half Spoon Ghee
  • 6-7 Golden Raisins
  • Half Litre Milk
  • Half Bowl Soaked Rice
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Condensed Milk
  • Orange Zest
  • A pinch of Cinnamon
PROCESS:

  1. In a pan heat Ghee and roast Golden Raisins in it for 1 minute.
  2. In another pan heat Milk till it is boiled.
  3. Add Rice to it and mix it for 15-20 minutes so that no lumps are formed.
  4. Now add Sugar to it and mix for around 5minutes on low flame.
  5. Now add Condensed Milk and again mix well.
  6. Now add Orange Zest and Cinnamon in it and let it boil on low flame.
  7. Now switch off the flame and transfer the Kheer in a bowl.
  8. Now garnish Kheer with Golden Raisins and some Powdered Sugar.
Now you are all ready to serve the hot Kheer. You can even serve it cold.
